Deep is highly concerned about the abrupt decline of the sex ration across the country, particularly in northern India. To bring a curb to this social problem, we are working for protection of girl child through constant campaign for improving sex ratio of girl child since 2007 in the states of NCT of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar. As part of this campaign, Deep has organized workshops, seminars, community meetings, rally, street plays and IEC campaign to ensure that no sex discrimination exists in our society. The community has been educated to treat the boys and girls equally with the focus on promotion of girl children education, health and non practice of social evils like dowry.
