In light of the coming into force of RTE Act, Deep has been running non-formal-education center for drop-out & out of school children in NCT of Delhi’s slums. These children live in a very difficult situation due to lack of basic life facilities and their parents cannot afford to provide food and education to them. Deep is trying to give a light of hope to those children through education for their better future and to bring them in mainstream in the society. Simultaneously the community is sensitized to send their children to schools and schools are sensitized to give admission to all those who are between the age group of 6 and 14.
Deep imparts skill development/vocational training on sewing, cutting, designing, beauty culture to the women. The objective is to provide new hopes to the women for enhancing their earning capacities and improve their life. The centers follow the syllabus and certification from Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Ministry of HRD, and Govt. of India.
